A bandsaw blade is a long band of metal with sharp teeth on one side that stretches between two or more wheels on the tool, capable of making many cuts with precision and speed. The width is determined by the machine being used and what it can handle, use the widest blade possible when cutting straight lines to reduce the risk of breaking when material is fed through, this also keeps the cuts straight as the blade will not bend. Thinner blades are recommended for lighter, circular cutting as they can withstand the twisting action. Available in a range of lengths and widths.
